MY pc was working 100% fine, I however needed to move it from one room to another and in doing so apparently disabled the network adapter.

Since moving the computer and turning on the PC (no other changes were made) the pc no longer detects any network adapter in device manager, I have tried the following:

    - reinstalling the network adapter driver
    - starting the computer in safe mode with networking
    - buying a PCI network adapter (the original adapter was onboard)
    - completing a system restore to before I moved the computer
    - Ensure that network adapters are enabled in the Bios

In addition, sine turning off my PC last time (on the 15th) and now the computer no longer supports both my 1 gb ram sticks despite having run them perfectly for a week. I have had to remove 1 stick of memory, if I keep 2 in at start I keep a fast, repeating bios beep with a bios message displaying 'Drive A error. System halted' despite not having any drive A.

    Any help with this problem?

Have you tried a Microsoft Update lately? It may have updates that fix your issue.
