    All of a sudden when I try to enter various web sites I get this;
    line:6
    Char:1
    error: permission denied
    code: 0
    url: (the addy)

    I have taken several steps to try and solve this;
    deleted files from internet options
    uninstalled jvm/sun java
    rebooted

    I have posted on several forums and no one can help!
    I'm not sure if it is XP or IE! Is there any one who can help me?
    Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :

    Are you running Windows XP firewall or any other firewalls?

    Are you running any Privacy software settings that block personal infomation?

    What websites were you trying to visit? Do you need to be registered at any of those websites in order to enter?

    I wouldn't turn off your firewal! I would however seek to provide access through the firewall to your site.

    Turn your firewall back on!

    Going back to your first msg, under Internet Options, were the files you deleted Cookies or other files? After deleting the files, did you go back to pogo.com and login again (you said you were a member)?

    I don't understand what prompted you to uninstall java?

    I deleted other files and yes I went back and logged in again, the uninstall/reinstall came from another forum. I am at my wits end on this one and I really don't want to reformatt my HD as I just did that last month. So far you are the only one asking legit questions and I thank you for trying to help me!

    Try these:
    1) Click Start, click Run, type "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" in the Open box,(without the quotes) and then click OK.
    2) Set your Internet Web zone settings to Medium. To do this, follow these steps: Start Internet Explorer.
    On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
    Click the Security tab.
    Click the Internet Web content zone icon.
    Click Custom Level.
    In the Reset to box, click Medium.
    Click Reset.
    Click OK.

    Well, if you don't want to see those script errors go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, and Check 'Disable script debugging' and Uncheck 'Display a notification about every script error'. Click Apply.
    I turned these off a long time ago.
