I'm using Windows XP Pro (OS), with four family members as users (myself, my wife, my son & my daughter). We have the same screen saver set for each user, however, when any of us log off, the Windows XP screen saver comes on... WHY? How can I disable this so our choosen saver can be used?

Go to Start>Run and type regedit. Press enter.

    Navigate to this key:
    HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop

Highlight Desktop in the left pane. Look in the right pane for this String Value:

Double Click on SCRNSAVE.EXE to bring up a dialog box.
Type the name of the Screensaver file you want to use to replace the current screensaver.(logon.scr) Click OK. Close the Registry.
