    :( Help!

I have attempted to install XP SP2 only to have it stop responding when backing up the registry before the install. I have run Adaware as well as Spybot to remove as much garbage as possible. Here is the Hijack log... Can anybody help me fix this mess?

Surprise surprise - yet another case of SP2 -v- Norton. Try uninstalling Norton and the other spyware and adware programmes first. You can put them back on as soon as SP2 is installed or if necessary, use the protection of the SP2 firewall to go to Symantec's site for the fixes they are offering to bring their products into line with XP as updated by SP2.
