Hi all, please could you help me with this. I have noticed a steady increase in the amount of time it takes to start the computer recently. It seems to boot fine, quite quickly but once the desktop appears I often have to wait up to, and often exceeding 1 minute to actually be able to do anything with it.
I've tried a fair few things to increase the speed including, defragging, running checkdisk, disk clean up, removing start up applications and disabling services but nothing seems to have decreased the load time. Any Suggestions??
Here is my Hijack This log if it helps

Have you checked your System and Application event logs to see if any useful errors have been recorded?

Check your startup folder and suppress as many apps (loads) as possible - in my experience, the culprit has been a DLL or a driver.

Reboot and see if it improves.. if it does, start allowing a couple at the time until you find the "guilty" file. - A good place to start looking.
