Has anybody else had there default search engine hijacked by microsoft itself. I used to have my default address bar searches go through google. However since installing sp2 it forces me through msn. I use to be able to change this by going into the search button and clicking customise preferences. Now that appears to be gone and the only thing I can change is the default msn search preferences not the default search engine. Has anybody else had this problem and if so do you know how to change it.

You could try editing the Registry at HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://whateveryouwant.

Go to search, and the bottom option in the balloon on the left is change search preferences, click on that the select change internet search behavior.
