I had XP prof installed on my computer.

I installed Norton Virus 2007 and got the error message ccSVcHst.exe error.

To compound matters I reinstalled XP thinking that it needed fixing.

Now it is stuck on installation mode for 39 mins.

What can I do? I don't have much time to fix problem.

It keeps looping to set up is being restarted

Is this your 1st time installing XP? Or are you somewhat familiar with doing so?

I did the reboot sequence with the CD.

The install went through and it is working much better.
