XP taskbar annoyance

Hi,

For the last few weeks my XP taskbar has been uncooperative. I used advanced system care toolbox and accidently clicked 'cascading windows' in the taskbar options and now all of my active windows are about 1/2 to 1/4 the width of a normal program minimized on the taskbar. I've tried playing around with the toolbox again to undo my actions but I still can't fix it. I've also tried looking for a way to restore the taskbar from playing around with the registry but nothing seems to be working.

I've kinda given up rebooting my computer to see if the changes have taken effect because it takes about 10mins to boot up (which I have also tried to speed up but I think it gets held up on the work server's end)

Would anyone have any idea how to fix this?
