Hi.
My system is having a few serious issues at the moment, most notably the inability to recognize the soundcard and inability to connect to the internet...also, it seems like the XP "appearance" of the taskbar and windows has changed (it has reverted to classic windows style, but is unalterable).

Here's a recent log:

Can anyone tell me what's going on, or at least give me some ideas of how to fix these problems?

Thanks!

first of all delete:
all of the O2 - BHOs with (no name) and/or (no file) in it
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {FDB96B5C-06DC-4512-9F85-5435348E11E8} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [DXM6Patch_981116] C:\WINDOWS\p_981116.exe /Q:A
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [nwiz] nwiz.exe /installquiet
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [PHIME2002ASync] C:\WINDOWS\System32\IME\TINTLGNT\TINTSETP.EXE /SYNC
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [PHIME2002A] C:\WINDOWS\System32\IME\TINTLGNT\TINTSETP.EXE /IMEName
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IMJPMIG8.1] C:\WINDOWS\IME\imjp8_1\IMJPMIG.EXE /Spoil /RemAdvDef /Migration32
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IMEKRMIG6.1] C:\WINDOWS\ime\imkr6_1\IMEKRMIG.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IEDriver] C:\WINDOWS\System32\IEDriver\IExplore.exe /U (delete this)

The O4s - delete the ones you do not recognise as a program you installed.

restart and see if you have any problems. As for the desktop appearance, the likely cause is the graphics driver. Try to install an up-to-date driver.
