I have two pc's that have win98 on them. I purchased the win XP home edition upgrade today. I have yet to install it however. I am concerned that I'll only be able to activate (register with microsoft) XP on one machine since I only have one registration key. Do I need to buy two copies of the XP upgrade? FWIW, I have to differenct IP's for my machines (broadband - cable modem).

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Dan

I ran a search and I see that it would be a licensing violation to install one copy of XP on two pc's. Not to mention it would'nt work because microsoft will only issue one activation code. I guess I'll pick up another copy of XP then.

    Sorry for the wasted post.
