OK. Here I go again. I am having a problem with logging off and switching off of user accounts. I have two user acccounts in my computer and am running Windows XP Home Edition. Both of the user accounts are admin accounts and one of them is passowrd-protected and the other one is not. I usually use the account that is not password-protected and my bro uses the one that is. The problem starts when he or I switch/logoff to his account. It takes hell lot of time to just come up. And then when hes done working on his stuff or whatever hes gotta do and tries to switch back, a popup comes up and says there is a DSL connection would like to close it and we always click yes. And after that the screen goes blank and thats it. The PC stops responding to anything at all even if I wait a long time for it to come around. I am then just stuck there untill I keep the power button on the processor pressed down for a while to shut it down. The restarting keys (Ctrl + Alt + Del) won't work. The PCs is pretty fast (1.99 GHz with 256 MB of RAM) but it works VERY slow once I have restarted after it got stuck. Even though I've got DSL the pages come up just like I'm using a 28.8 kbps modem connection. I've no idea whats causing this since there aren't many programs in the startup to cause the computer to be slow. I have a lot of songs on my PC and might that be causing the slowness....? Not sure though since they are just taking up space not the memory. I don't really remember when this started happening.

Just one more thing I just remembered is that when I change to my bro's account, I usually just use the "Switch" option and don't completely logoff from my user account by choosing the "Logoff" option instead.

Thanks for your time and for reading this thread. :)

This really isn't needed, its just some bs program installed when you use the installation CD from some ISP's..
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BJCFD] C:\Program Files\BroadJump\Client Foundation\CFD.exe

And I belive this is spyware.. Spybot should be able to take care of this.. (look below)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [tgcmdprovidersbc] "c:\program files\support.com\bin\tgcmd.exe" /server /startmonitor /deaf /nosystray

also, you might want to go through everything that says RUN and Startup next to it, you have alot of stuff loading when you boot..

take a crack at SpyBot.. it can't hurt :)
