I have 2 yahoo e-mail accounts. I can use the Reply, Forward, or Move drop-down menus in either account. Please see attached.

Not sure how this resolves the problem and how it helps someone who wants an account not assciated with an ISP?

frankbec: Did this problem "just" start? Have you tried those accounts from another PC? Since it last worked, have you done any tweaking, like registry cleaning, disabling Java, Activex, etc?
Also, those buttons on their own work? It's just the pulldowns?

The problem just started last week when I attempted to Reply to an e-mail.

The problem exists on multiple yahoo accounts, my own and others) - but only on this one computer. The accounts work fine on other computers.

Therefore - The problem in within the computer.

An up-to-date virus scan found no viruses. Ad-aware and Spybot found some malware, but deletiong them did not fix the problem.

If someone out there knows which dlls are involved in opening drop-down menus, I could replace them one at a time.

Forgot to answer one of your questions.

Without the drop-down menus working, I can not reply to, forward, or move any messages.

I just disabled Javascript and got the same results as you are having. Go into your browser settings and enable javascript and you should get the drop downs back.

Thank you, Junker39, you solved the problem. clap-clap, whistle, whistle...

Thinking back, maybe it was my 11 year old grandson.

He was alone up here, and he is somehat familiar with these boxes.

Then again, maybe it was me. I'll be 80 soon and maybe I forgot
I was monkey-doodling around. Doubt it, but it's possible.

And to the thoughtful person that suggested I get an I.S.P. and use
O.E. or something similar... Thank you, but I already do. Yahoo just
makes a great 2nd or 3rd address for certain purposes.

frankbec, you're welcome. You can do like my dad,(he's 84), keep a hammer beside the monitor and if it messes up too bad.......... lol. Good luck.
