Yahoo mail problem

I'm only able to get into my Yahoo mail account on Chrome; Firefox and Edge say the account is locked due to too log-in attempts. I use an email client (Windows Live Mail) and it says wrong password, although I'm using the same password as Chrome. ATT support not much help; what do you suggest?

I've removed the link as it was quite long and redirected a few times. I don't think it's nefarious as I did get an error message but being a new member it's preferable to just quote the error message or better yet post a screenshot of it please.

You most likely require an app specific password due to 2-step authentication being active on your account:

If this is not active then you either need to choose to ‘allow less secure apps to access your account or activate 2-step authentication.
