:confused:We had INSIGHTBB for our server until COMCAST took it over. Till then I never had problems w/ connecting to Yahoo messenger. After that it was hit & miss & now it is never. I get the message that they can't sign me in & check my online status. I have removed the program, reinstalled it w/ updates, I have tried the BETA version, went back to pre update version, I have turned off the computer, rebooted, unplugged all appliance (printer etc) including from the modem box still with no luck
I have called comcast said it wasn't there problem:mad:. This last time that made me stay disconnected we had lost our power from comcast--TV, computer & telephone. I have a network set-up with hubby's laptop using LINKSYS & he has connection to yahoo messenger. So what do i need to do? I have connection to AIM, & windows messenger. :(

Did you shutdown your computer after you uninstalled the program to delete any cache d files that your computer would automaticly retrieve to reinstall ym? I know it's kind of dumb and tedious but I've had it happen to me before.
