    Could someone please help me?

My ISP is Videotron (I live in Quebec), and I have a D-LINK DIR-615 Wireless N. My internet connection is just over 10 megabits per second, averaging a download speed of 1150 kilobytes per second, which remains unchanged, (multiple speed tests, downloads and torrents).

About a month ago, when watching videos on YouTube, they started streaming at extremely low speeds, making videos that used to finished streaming in seconds completely unwatchable.

I have restarted my router, modem, Anti-Virus (with firewall - Kaspersky Internet Security 2010) and computer several times and it didn't help. The only thing that did help was plugging my computer directly into the modem, which returned the speeds to normal.

However, I have 3 friends, all of which have Videotron, but not D-LINK routers, experiencing the same problem. Videotron does not throttle, and I have not changed computers, routers, modems, operating systems, virus protection software or internet browser since long before the problem began.

Please help, I feel like I have a dial-up connection.

You've found 3 other people with exactly the same problem, and the only common factor is ISP, but you don't think the problem is with the ISP?
