Hi guys,

I have already known issue on the internet which I'm still not able to solve.
As described in the Topic Name, I have 4 x 4gb of identical RAM set on my motherboard.
It is Corsair - PC3-10700 (667 MHz) CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9.

Prior to re-installing my OS ( previously Windows 10 Pro 64bit , now the same OS ), OS was recognizing normally 16gb, but from the latest installation it only seems to have recognize is half , 8gb.

Please find below already the steps which I have taken but with no results:
Checked the Maximum RAM option in msconfig.
Updated BIOS to the latest version.
Tried all the possible combinations of the memory cookies - same result.
Tested all cookies 1 by 1 to verify that they work - yes.

Interesting things:
-No combination of the RAM cookies can show > 8GB. ( so 12GB with 3 cookies, or 16GB with 4 are now never displayed ).
- Regardless of the RAM cookies order, bios only recognizes 1st and 3rd, and if I open "Component Browser" -> UI in the bios where the user goes with the mouse over the motherboard components, all 4 slots are recognized.

Memory is set in dual channel, and all on the same latencies. 9-9-9-27.

Also, OS does not recognize > 8GB ram, but Everest, Speccy etc, recognize is without a problem.
Speccy recognizes 16384 bytes as the amount of the available memory, but a few lines below, where Physical Memory is stated, it is displaying only 7.96GB ~ 8GB.

Please find the Speccy screenshot below:

Please let me know if I can help you additionally with some data.

Thanks in advance.

Checked the Maximum RAM option in msconfig
The "Number of processors" and "Maximum memory" boxes should both be unchecked.
Neither box should be checked.
