I have the Zentom System Guard Virus on one computer. For the most part I've removed a big portion of the virus by following the instructions here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-zentom-system-guard

I am still having trouble connection to the internet. I am running windows XP on the system. When I click on Repair (to fix internet connection settings) I get this error message "Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed: Renewing your IP address" I researched that and found that I need to enable two system services. DHCP Client and the Remote Procedure Call (RPC). When I go into system services I cannot start either service. I get error messages on both. I have also checked other settings for internet connection. I have checked the Connections option on Internet Explorer to Automatically Detect Settings. And same thing on the tcpip properties, both tabs are set to detect settings automatically. I cannot go online in safe mode with networking either.

I have scanned multiple times and deleted all infections with the following software's:

    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
    Super Anti Spyware
    Trojan Remover

I also deleted the following registry entries:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Zentom System Guard

I have ran ComboFix several times but when it is scanning the computer it has taken five hours without moving so I have to restart the computer. From previous experience on other computers, combo fix usually takes between 10 to 20 minutes.

I had to re-install the operating system. There were far too many issues with the computer aside from the virus. A lot of settings had been messed around with, and all administrative tools section gone. Control Panel was missing several options.

    Thanks anyways :)
