Hi guys, I have an Iomega Zip drive 250mb that has failed on me. That doesn't power up and have a disk stuck in the drive. What is the best way to remove the disk?

Follow the directions given here for removal of a disk in case of power failure.

Turn off the power on the zip disk, and insert a straightened paper clip in the small hole in the back of the drive, this is a manual eject provision. I notice that of three Zip drives in my closet, only two have the hole, I guess you have to disassemble the third one to remove a stuck disk. In any case, if you can't get it to eject, you may have to take the tin cover off to get the disk out...
