zonealarm antivirus plus firewall help

    Hi
    when trying to installing this i get setup is unable to log into the truevector service. install cannot continue without logging into the truevector service. please use the service manager to shutdown the truevector service and then restart the installer program. can anyone please tell me where to find the service manager to shutdown truevector?

    i have xp media center edition

    I'm guessing that this is a re-installation? To stop True Vector Service type services.msc into "RUN" and <OK> Scroll down to True Vector, one click it, and up on the left select "STOP this service." That should do it. It may be necessary to stop the vsmon.exe process in Taskmanager as well. Check for that after stopping the "Service." Full Zone Alarm forums: http://www.castlecops.com/f23-Zone_Alarm.html
